I had this for a few years. It was great when it worked (rinsing off the car in the winter, AC condenser in the summer, etc). After two years of occasional use, the plastic threads/fittings/tubes on the pump would strip and blow off the high-pressure side. It would spray internally all over the electronics and battery compartment (it wasn't weather-sealed). I fixed it a few times before I gave up and tossed it. I bought the Ryobi 40v handheld pressure sprayer and use a 5-gal bucket now. I don't really like it. Wish the SunJoe sprayer had just held up better.

I do not, but almost bought one a few years ago. (I was going to use it to rinse of puppy paws before going in the house, clear cob webs from under the soffit, water grass that was beyond a hose reach etc. . .) I did not for two reasons.

Reviews say that it leaks. I am not handy enough to MacGyver a fix.
Weight.. 5 gallons. . .8.34 lb per gallon. Plus Tool is 9.5 gallons. . . That's heavy to be moving around as I intended.

Having said that. . . thinking about it again at this price!

A few things seem off, but I welcome anyone with first hand experience. Says it lasts 38 minutes, but it comes with a 2ah battery and advertises 90w. At 90w, 24v battery, that's ~4amp draw, which would take the 2ah battery down to nothing half an hour, and that's in ideal conditions. Additionally, I don't see the gph rating, but how quickly does this drain the 5 gallon reservoir? I'd love to leave this in the pickup bed for when we go to the beach just for a quick rinse off of the kids. Anyone know if it would work well for that purpose and if it can also hold warm water?

I have one of these for less than a year. Just note that it has a quick connect with 2 clicks to fully connect, and not leak. it will leak with only 1 click. Other than that, it works great.

just note that 5 gallons of water is actually very heavy.

Chatgpt says that 5 gallons of water is ~42 pounds which sounds about right.

I used to want one of these until I realized a $10 pump sprayer works just as well for most use-cases.

Yes it will work. The water pressure is actually great. The actual flow is probably 1gpm and It works with both warm water and hot water.

The battery running for 38 minutes is likely true, but I never tested it as the water in the tank always runs out first

It lasts around 5 minutes without the attachment to use up the 5 gallon reservoir of water. With the attachment, you can turn it on/off and control the spray pattern, but the attachment was inconvenient when I used it for emergency showering.

You can also try the rinse kit from costco, which is similar.

Interesting idea if you always need low pressure, but I see buying a cheap cordless hand held pressure washer [amazon.com] + blue 7 gallon water tote [walmart.com] as a more versatile and reliable solution, for roughly the same price. Plus they could be used separately if needed.

Cordless pressure washers have more powerful motors and batteries. Deal come around and they are currently around $40-50 on Amazon. 7 gallon water totes are $15 at Walmart.

As a surfer and a trucker, I appreciate you OP. Always wanted a rinsekit but they're like hundreds of dollars, hopefully this holds up!

From some research this often goes on sale for under $100, one YouTube review shows it could be had for $75 with a coupon, so effectively this is about $20 off. I bought one at this price for the beach days to rinse off the kids.
