If anyone is wondering, these are cheap because they're discontinued. They just redid them with milk chocolate and chocolate chips on top and the difference is very noticeably better.
Doctor here. When we say "processed foods", most people think processed meat. It's true that processed meat is a big part of it, but what we are looking at here is highly processed food too. Just because they pump a lot of protein into it doesn't make it healthy.
There are plenty of sources of unprocessed protein. Besides we all know this is going to be a pretty gross tasting "sweet roll".
I like these. I heat them up a little bit and i think it makes them better
Counter point — these taste terrible, even heated up; they're terribly dry and chalky. If anyone's looking for good tasting protein bars that taste more like a candy bar, Barebells and Fulfil are the best tasting ones out there.

These are actually pretty decent, but there are repercussions for eating them. Most (including myself) report diarrhea from the excessive artificial sweetener. Even one pack is enough to trigger it for a lot of people. As long as you're okay with that these are pretty tasty. It's also my understanding that the reason they cause diarrhea is they interfere with your guts microbiome so keep that in mind as well.

Though I don't disagree on your points, this type of product fits a need of "doesn't melt" and "better than fast food" when on the go.

its all subjective. i dont really like barebells, Fufil is decent.
I could go through what i like and dont like but thats just me. Whenever i read these protein deals i typically see people loving them next to people hating them.
Add on the people commenting "its not really healthy because blah blah blah" that would never buy or eat them but still come here to comment. and this thread is your typical protein bar post

Can someone help me with S&S? When I try to order these via S&S, Amazon wants to default to an 8/3 delivery date with only a 5% discount. I currently have a scheduled S&S delivery for 8/3 with 8 products, and I'm receiving the 15% discount on those items. Why are these not getting the 15% discount?
1st ingredient-random protein
2nd ingredient- artificial sweetener (if it ain't glucose, it's artificial)
3rd ingredient- oil
These things are nasty! I'll take a costco cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting, real sugar, and real butter, and wash it down with a high protein glass of milk instead.

I know that it's all personal preference but do you have some recommendations on what you'd lean towards?
