I'm a cheap SOB as well but is it really worth it at the end of the day to go through (even the minor) hassle of a return / rebuy just for $1? Printing a return shipping label, packaging up, making sure you actually got credit, etc for the piddly difference? Lets not even talk about the wasted packaging and fuel consumed during the process.

Got one it's a no-brainer for six dollars. Amazon review says that it works with tablets, iPhone and laptops

Returns at Kohl's are free and no packaging needed. Multiple items in one trip. You also never know if Amazon will tell you no need to return it either.

I think even for SDers returning for a $1 is pretty low brow. Considering all the excess costs and impact as mentioned in the reply earlier. And gambling in the "don't have to return it" is just kinda lame imo.

I bought this over a year ago. Works like a charm. I think I paid like 10 bucks for it. Definitely worth 6 bucks.
Imo works better than many expensive ones - i.e. it outputs 5120x1440 (49" Samsung screen) resolution correctly, where Asus Ally Rog adapter won't.
Don't have Apple hardware, but for any Android(used with Samsung galaxy s23 ultra) or laptop (I have Lenovo and Asus) works without a hitch. Gets little warm on touch but nothing out of the ordinary.

It is for me, but that is only because I drive past a UPS store on my way home from work every day.

Personally I can't see driving to Kohls (or UPS), parking, standing in line, waiting for another delivery etc being worth 100 pennies of my time / gas. But thats just me.

Not to mention this type of behavior drives up costs for everyone, so in the long run contributes to overall raising prices for all customers. Some amounts might be worth it....but for a dollar?

Agreed, but I don't think that original post was actually serious.

Totally agree with you! I would not return it just for a dollar.

I'm out. Has USB 3.2 *and* HDMI, sure, but what about S-Video, Ethernet, Parallel & Serial Ports?
