For less than $2 a marker give them a try. Have low expectations but be presently surprised if they work decently.

The value isn't quite there for silver inkzalls. The gold one isn't useful. Silver sharpie fine points are $3.48 per 2-pack (even cheaper with S&S). I like the black Inkzalls at $1/pen. I also like HF version at $1/pen.

A few years back, I discovered retractable Sharpies and never looked back. Shockingly useful; one-handed open/close can't be beat when your other hand is holding the tape and your mouth is busy. Also, they exist in my favorite colors.

Retractable Sharpies are great, and we use them at work. I have coworkers that bring their personal Inkzall black markers to work though because of how much better they do on dirty surfaces. Sharpies tend to choke when they encounter dirt and grime.

I am fine with below Dollar Tree products

https://www.dollartree.com/search...%20markers

not much point to spend too much for those same ink pens...

That very well may be, but the said point could be found in the two 1-star reviews on the page you linked.

If you work at a desk, retractable Sharpies are perfect. If you're working on dirty stuff regularly, definitely the Milwaukee Inkzall.

Great review, sounds like the Inkzall are a big step ahead.

I have the inkzall black sharpies and they do seem to mark on more things than the sharpies we have. I've literally tried them both on the same item and only the inkzall worked. Just talking about the black color. I don't know what brand is best though. I had a sharpie industrial that was pretty good too.
