Yes. Includes extra year of warranty. The Costco one is 16" and 12-core vs. 14" and 11-core for the MC one

Yeah but one is brand new and the other one has been a display model always and maybe maybe has scratches and scuffs. People have been hitting it stuff could have been spilled on it etc

Floor models are always on as well, maybe LCD has burning or anything like that. You have to be really careful with floor models. All I'm saying is I would do it as long as it's good warranty behind it

I bought the 14" with the same specs for $2,815 a week ago. The hassle of wiping, returning, dealing with an AppleCare+ purchase, and a slight but practically unnecessary preference for the 14" form factor is enough to keep me from swapping. Great deal for anyone looking for this spec though.

It's not a hassle at all.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this price is better than what you can find for a similar memory and storage speced 16" M4 Pro. Is there any reason not to get an M4 Max if you know you don't need the extra power? I believe battery life suffers some, but are there other drawbacks I am not thinking of?
