What are you gaining with this reply? I did a quick search for "Kobalt inflator". I found 3-4 instances in the past year with this post being the cheapest.

It's $7 because of the fixed inlet fitting.

Can you share what thread the gauge port accepts, better yet what parts you used to do this?

I plan to do the same. Bought one of these before and replaced the Schrader end with a Jaco presta fitting, works great for my mtb tires. But I'm always double checking with a different gauge, mine always reads low.

Interesting. I was considering buying this because the screen on my digital one crapped out. Figured analog was more reliable albeit a little less accurate.

Bought one a couple years ago - pretty sure it was $7 then too. Works like it's supposed to, the gauge on mine is consistent and seems accurate compared to my digital gauges. I actually like the analog gauge - no batteries to go dead when it sits unused for months. The clip-on chuck with flexible hose works in most situations. The threaded input is standard 1/4" NPT so you can add whichever style of quick connect fitting you use.
