10% off retail price, first notable sale of these titles I believe for the physical game cards:

https://electronics.woot.com/offe...cnt_wp_1_2
https://electronics.woot.com/offe...cnt_wp_1_3
https://electronics.woot.com/offe...cnt_wp_1_1

Not an amazing deal but if you want to buy these games and want them physical, this is the first I've seen. Free shipping if you have Prime.

FYI, Woot is known to send an 'international' version. Not the US version. Not sure on these specific ones but on got burned on on think Mario Party because it's supposed to come with Nintendo Online but the Woot one didn't.

To clarify on these. International version or not, these specific games will have no issue running on a U.S. Nintendo Switch 2

I've ordered five or six switch games from Woot and have only received the U.S. version. Luck?

Were they First party? This happens with first party games.

This is correct. As far as I am aware all of the first-party Nintendo games they sell are likely to be international versions imported from overseas. Third-party games are a different story though.

It's worth nothing that some Switch 1 games did have regional issues with acquiring DLC though.

Could you elaborate on this?
The upgrades for BotW and TotK DID come free with Nintendo Online subscription. But Mario Party does not. It costs $20. (Would be way cooler if free like others!) I have US version of Mario Party Jamboree and can confirm there's a cost to the Switch2 TV add-on, apart from having read in many sources.

Why do people buy these at these crazy prices? Just buy the switch 1 version for $50 then do the upgrade for free. If you don't have online expansion it pays for itself the first upgrade

If you find them both at 50 it would cost you 100 for the games and 50 for the online and you only have the upgrades for a year at 150. This way is 134 and you never lose the upgrades.

Used OG Switch Zelda games are not hard to find for $30. Walmart was selling new physical copies of ToTK for $30 last November.

The Switch 2 upgrade is $10 so if you want the same value proposition I would recommend waiting for a used Switch 2 copy for $40

Expenses is a subjective metric. Not that pricy for many.

These have been out less than 2 months. After the initial record-breaking launch, Switch 2 sales have cratered; it took less than 6 weeks after launch for consoles to be readily available. Nintendo priced S2 and the games way too high, the only people willing to spend that much were rich families, Nintendo diehards, the dozen or so people looking for a more powerful Switch, and content creators. To make matters worse, Mario Kart World players and content creators are starting to complain that online lobbies are low on players. For the newest Mario Kart. Which came out less than 2 months ago. And unfortunately the rest of the catalog just isn't that appealing at the moment. Besides MKW (which has its own myriad of complaints to address), DKB (another game that won't see much interest in 2 months, it's basically a rage room with 6-7 hit singles) is single-player only, and that's it for the new (not remade) first-party titles.

To make matters worse, only first party new S2 launches scheduled for the remainder of 2025 are Kirby Air Riders (2025) and Pokemon Legends Z-A which is currently scheduled for mid October 2025. After that, Splatoon Raiders doesn't even have a launch date yet. And that's IT for confirmed 1st party titles. There's no mention whatsoever of another Smash Bros, 2D Mario (I think Nintendo are kicking themselves for releasing Wonder on S1), 3D Mario, 2D/3D Zelda (more woes caused by Totk and Eow), ANYTHING.
