It's the "bread flour" part that makes this a good deal, not that it's unbleached. Looks like the cheapest there is $5.99.

In for one at $2.52, used the coupon and S&S.

What is "enriched" if it is unbleached? If you care about healthy diet and whole wheat, look for the least processed ones - non-enriched unbleached. By the way, what I hate about Costco/Costco Business center is that their larger pack flour choices are all bleached. Such an unthoughtful decision. Not everyone is buying flour to make cakes

That is all purpose flour at Kroger. This is bread flour which is typically more expensive.

2.65 each with the 10% off for 4. In for 12 in 3 separate orders. No coupon for me, but still a good deal.

Bread flour is just higher gluten content, not necessarily a better option. All purpose works fine for bread
You can't be serious, all purpose works fine for bread? Would love to see your "bread." 😂

Baking in a machine per their instructions. So, it is not a skill issue. Have both bread and all purpose of King Arthur flour. Compared them dozens of times over the years, Zero difference in the bread quality

I'm sure King Arthur's AP flour is far better than your typical AP flour; but I've never even heard of people debating this, it has BREAD in the name for a reason. I am leaving with chatGPTs summary for you to argue with how you prefer your bread flat and crunchy.
"Bread flour is better for making bread than all-purpose (AP) flour because it has a higher protein content (usually 12-14% vs. 10-12%). More protein means more gluten formation, which gives bread better structure, chewiness, and rise."
These are just the facts, I get that your AP flour bread is passable, but telling people to just use AP flour for bread is wrong. When I made the switch, it was night and day.

ChatGPT is the arbiter of fact now?

Not to get into the dog fight, but KA Bread flour has 4g / serving of protein, whereas this flour has 3gm; a big part of the difference between regular flour (better for cakes and pastries) and bread flour is that bread flour has more protein.

Also, this flour includes barley flour...(as does the big Costco bagged flour). Amazon's KA bread flour also includes barley, but Costco's KA flour in 10 lb bag for maybe 84 cents a pound does not.

YMMV
