Its available pretty much everywhere. Hard falloff. As I figured. Nintendo bad consumer practices.

Lol it's the fastest selling console, it sold 3 times of what the original switch sold in the same time

At launch maybe but it's everywhere I go in stock. Target, Best Buy and Walmart all had them. No scalpers needed for this system. Best Buy also had a few hundred of those $30 amiibo just stacked up behind the registers. Good luck getting rid of those.

Might be regional. I haven't seen it in stock anywhere near me. In any case, this is a good thing and not representative of lack of interest in the console.

I am for anything that keeps the scalpers away. If it is due to Nintendo shipping large quantities, good on them.

on the fence with this. What switch 2 games are even coming out this year? Seems to only be rehashed switch 1 games.

Yep, I noticed this as well and I hope all of the scalpers get hit had with unsold switches.

How is "people who want to buy it can now walk into a store and buy it for MSRP" a 'bad consumer practice'?

Had to return 2 of them. lol jk I'm not a scalper. But I ended up cancelling two orders. After reading reviews and mediocre launch game line up. Can't justify a $450 console. The Switch (1), still has so much left in it. Plus I just got Online+Expansion, so I'll be playing so much nostalgic N64 games.

I felt the same. I ended up cancelling my orders. If a new Super Smash Bros game comes out I might get it. But the current SSB on Switch1 still has so much life in it.

Basically ppl are paying $550 so they can play the new mariokart right now. Not saying i will never buy a switch 2 but I think I will stick with the first until more games are available and hopefully the price drops some, also with time, would be a plus. To each their own tho

If I don't have a switch yet but want to buy one, is it worth it or should I opt for the original?
