Add a third battery and you're good to go! We've had the 80v Kobalt set for nearly 9 years with no issues and the only maintenance is changing string on the weed whacker and sharpening / replacing blade in mower.

I would say this is a great deal, we have had our greenworks mower now for over 5 years and still runs like a champ. Got it on super close out sale at end of season for like $180 with one battery.

Here you get everything you need for lawn work including the blower and trimmer. The deck size is standard and what most people would use for their homes being 21" and its self propelled which is really nice even though these electric mowers are very light.

I'd love to hear other comments on the blower and trimmer from this deal. I have the brushless version of each and they are beasts and have lasted around 8+ years or so. If I recall these felt more like toys when I was looking at them and no where near the same level.

I have a similar mower (greenworks, 40v).overall it is a good mower. bogs down if grass is over 2-3 inches. 4ah battery lasts about 20 minutes on average. there are two major downsides. 1. finding a replacement blade is almost impossible. greenworks has been out of stock for over a year. I eventually found a generic version, but sad greenworks isn't even trying g to support their product. 2. greenworks support is almost nonexistent. online chat is always offline. calling means 30+ minutes wait times, sometimes as long as an hour. their sales staff is responsive, but once you send your money it is very difficult to get someone to help you.

Looks like you can get 2 x 4ah batteries and a 2ah battery and trimmer for about same price. Might be better deal if you don't need blower.

I just decided to bite on this. I currently have a Greenworks electric lawnmower. In my new home the lawn is odd shaped and the electric cord gets snagged. I need to switch 3 outlets and connect 3 extension cords to get the job done. Figured that this will make lawn mowing a 20 minute task vs a 1 hour ordeal.
The addition tools are bonus too as I only had the corded versions of these.

I just moved into a place that has around 600 square feet flat lawn.
Is this deal an overkill for my lawn and I'm better off with a 16" 18V Ryobi push model?

This is indeed very good; I would advise that this mower takes me 9 AH (5 ah and 4 ah) of battery use to mow about half my yard when its tall or the front and side when kept short. My backyard is a slightly inclined hill to a fence and part of my side yard 1\2 Acre Lot. (0.56). The self prop will indeed pull its self up a hill (for mows) even with mainly steering and battery life length involved in those quick mow cases. Moreover I've found electric mowing way more rewarding than I thought. My model can fold and sit vertically. I just started cleaning the thing after each use. I tend to try and pick up bigger sticks with one hand as a mow and keep a medium fast pace throwing them in a final deciding location. Each battery must cool before it is charged and I get about 45-55 minutes of mowing out of the 5 and 4 ah 40v batteries. I usually just switch to a cordless GreenWorks 80v chainsaw if there's another task outside before I'm so filthy I must shower. Don't be like me & get yourself a proper chainsaw face shield or something like those face shields from the covid era and keep 'em for chain or whipping.

Based on the picture, I think the two included chargers are 2 Amp chargers.

It will take one hour to charge the 40V 2AH battery from 0% to 100%.

It will take 2.5 hours to charge the 40V 5AH battery from 0% to 100%.

And I know my (the same looking) charger will always heat up and release a very bad smell at about 1 hour mark. Make sure your the battery and charger are within your view when charging them.

40v is going to be underpowered.
Voltage sets a ceiling on how much force the motor can possibly produce. 60v is the minimum.
