No deal seen on my Amazon. Just the regular $44.99 price.

Seems to be more of a party trick to me, I expect it to be able to support PIN lock or switch USB interface type by mimicking read only disk drive using an ISO inside the SSD, that would be so much more helpful and handy when installing new OS.

Even though it indicated promo code V5CCUIPA successfully applied, price was still $44.99 at checkout.

Edit: The discount (-$13.50) was applied after I left the checkout page and proceeded to delete the item from the cart. Then readded the item to the cart and proceeded to checkout, then the code seemed to be applied successfully. Seems to be a bug on Amazon's end after applying the code initially in checkout.

Story does not line up with somehow obtaining that coupon code. Not saying the product is good or bad, but the story is suspicious.

Yeah, not very functional. I would have liked to see the ability to choose an active ISO, ventoy style, from within the enclosure interface

Having PLP is awesome. I wish they have a version that can do 40gbps + autofan to handle the heat from nvmes.

I've been eyeing this for a while, it just looks cool. The clear one looks cooler but is $50.

I bit the bullet anyway. Thanks!

Just use a thumb drive if that's all you're going to do. Nobody is going to spend $30 on an enclosure with a drive that's so small it cost less than $30.
