Why are you arguing the location of the tech capitol of the country or world? Who are you debating? This is a hard-to-find deal for a refurbished TV … not sure what tech capitols have to do with that.

Really wish we had another location on the north side of LA. Here in West LA and Micro Center is sadly just a once a year vacation for me

Don't worry the Tustin location never has a great deal in stock anyways.

Is the c4 bright enough for direct sun

I want to put it outside in a covered area but lots of reflective light

Only 30 day return policy. How necessary is it to buy a protection plan on these since it's refurbished

Not worth it without a longer return period since it's refurb, definitely would be tempting with a better warranty.

I'm in Washington State near Seattle. I wish I had a way to block these from showing up for me unless they have shipping if not just to prevent the false hope these always offer us who choose to like in the literal tech (Silicon Valley is actually mostly just investors that take credit for tech created by other people all over the country but look at who has their corporate headquarters in the PNW. Trust me we are very aware.) capitol of the world but I guess that's not enough to put an expansion store up here. I guess the following isn't enough for them: Here are the companies with Headquarters in the Pacific Northwest and the reason the PNW is the actual heart of technology for the country (and possibly the world):
* Amazon (Seattle, WA)
* Microsoft (Redmond, WA)
* Expedia Group (Seattle, WA)
* F5 Networks (Seattle, WA)
* Nintendo of America (Redmond, WA) - While Nintendo's global headquarters is in Japan, their North American operations are based in Redmond.
* Redfin (Seattle, WA)
* Smartsheet (Bellevue, WA)
* Getty Images (Seattle, WA)
* Tableau Software (Seattle, WA) - Now part of Salesforce, but still has a strong presence.
* Remitly (Seattle, WA)
* Zillow Group (Seattle, WA)
* T-Mobile US (Bellevue, WA) - While a telecommunications company, it has a significant tech component.
Companies with Significant Presence/Offices in the Pacific Northwest:
* Adobe (Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR) - Global headquarters is in San Jose, CA.
* Google (Seattle, WA, and Kirkland, WA, and Portland, OR) - Global headquarters is in Mountain View, CA.
* Apple (Seattle, WA) - Global headquarters is in Cupertino, CA.
* Meta (Facebook) (Seattle, WA) - Global headquarters is in Menlo Park, CA.
* Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR, and other locations) - While its main headquarters is in Santa Clara, CA, Intel has a massive presence and operations in Oregon.
* Oracle (Seattle, WA)
* Salesforce (Seattle, WA)
* IBM (Bellevue, WA)
* Indeed (Seattle, WA)
* Niantic (Bellevue, WA)
* NVIDIA (Redmond, WA)

I think it would work but it would be dim and definitely underwhelming compared to a darker environment.

I have a C4 in a dim room next to a bright window (i.e. not outside). It does fine against the daylight but on a sunny day, I would prefer slightly brighter if I had the choice. I think this would be the same and more exaggerated if covered abd outside. You could watch and as long as you are okay with a darker picture, it'd be really cool! But it wouldn't appear at normal TV brightness I don't think.

I have one one hold near the NYC area since you don't have to pay until you pick it up. Wondering if it's worth it or wait on a Hisense / TCL 85" mini-led. The refurb makes me slightly nervous....

I'd rather have a 77" OLED than a 85" mini led, but that's just me.

Ok, you convinced me, I will give Seattle more credit for being the tech geo center for the US and possibly the world. How that helps me find a deal on a TV remains a mystery to me however. I, like you, don't live near a micro center so I will be ordering online from someone else or visiting a store that has a local presence. I'll add this to the list of things I tell my kids about such as walking to school every day, uphill both ways and in the snow.

Enjoy your 20% liquor tax in the "tech capital" that doesn't have a MicroCenter nor a NBA team. Some people just like to complain.
