Is this a good deal? How efficient is it for a canon 5D camera ?

Do you ACTUALLY mean the 20 year old DSLR? Those use compact flash cards and these won't work

Just in time. I bought Kingston on Amazon for my R6 Mark II, but one was a UHS-I. Paid more as well. The only downside is I used a gift card for the Amazon order.

Can't speak for these ones exactly, but I shoot professionally and have been using the 1667x version of this card for about 5 years on a mostly daily basis - tens of thousands of photos - and I haven't had any issues at all. Lexar is a good brand, so I'm pretty confident in their cards.

I have a pair of the 128GB ones of these in my R6, and they have been great.

It's true. Lexar sold to a Chinese company. The people that used run Lexar started a new company, ProGrade.

But I do have a Lexar 128GB V60 for 2 years and no issues.

grabbed this as a backup. my camera doesn't have dual SD cards but figure I can hopefully copy over all photos at the end of a day using an ipad / SD card reader when traveling

I feel all SD cards (no matter the size or speed) now need a mandatory, no it won't work in the Switch 2 warning.
