Craftsman has lots of good hand tools. I grabbed one digital torque ratchet for $30 where my local sears closed their store.

Older made in USA Craftsman beam torque wrench is easy to use and doesn't need calibration. Still accurate to +/-3% from 10 to 125 ft-lbs (calibrated using dead weight) after multiple engine rebuilds.

Beam deflection provides reliable real time reading on the applied torque. No batteries. No moving parts to wear out. Apply force in a smooth steady manner to achieve the most accurate torque reading. Do not use lubricant. Remove thread corrosion using a stainless steel brush prior to assembly.
