Wow this is a lot cheaper than bodyglove sold in costco. Is there a big difference in quality/performance or is this much of better deal? Looking into start paddling next month.

I've never seen a paddleboarder with a helmet on like in their pics. That said, looks decent for the price.

big difference in quality and performance. BG uses triple stringer construction for stiffness and at 240lbs, I get no flex. I have 2 BG boards now (gave one away) and they have been beaten, abused and still look great. Their tandem board (15') had a seam problem due to defective gluing process and they voluntarily issued a recall for a replacement or refund. Solid company. Resale is strong as their reputation is strong. I suggest you go with a 11' or 11'6" board for better tracking, glide, speed, and stability. WM has sales on them often.
