Not sure about the $300 MSRP price stated, but it still seems like a decent deal.

Checked the price history, seems to have been listed for $120 to $150 until this july. Has anyone here used this particular one? I am in the market for a chair

There's basically no information on what the warranty covers. This kind of material PU leather is prone to peeling and if you plan on sitting on this chair regularly expect it to peel in about a year. Will the warranty cover that? I mean... if they are gonna send you a new chair... I mean if you don't mind putting up with that possibility and going through the process of warranty replacement but will the replacement chair get the same warranty treatment?

Tempting price, but based on my own previous experiences, it's best to go to a store and sit in a chair before you buy it.

Is it possible you are confusing this with "bonded leather" which is real leather, but layered and does tend to peel? This is PU leather, which is faux leather (vinyl) and I don't believe it peels as easily as bonded leather.

Definitely agree, especially since it requires assembly. However, I decided to pull the trigger on this for a couple reasons. The reviews, for the most part, are very good, and indicate easy assembly (which I highly doubt, I've assembled office chairs before). Plus, my car is down right now so going to the store would be difficult, and they might not have one assembled to try out. But returning was a concern because the last one I got was from Staples and they wanted me to take it apart, put it back in the box and bring it to them. That wasn't going to happen, LOL, but I was able to bring it to them assembled. I called Walmart. They said if you if you need to return it and have W+ they will pick it up from your house assembled and even take the box. Thought others might want to know that returns are easy with W+.

I found this chair on Amazon under the Brick Attic brand. They list it as 275 lbs, not 400. You can see in the dimensions image a large 275 that matches the Amazon one even though this one says 400 in the specs. Amazon's price is $99 so this is a better deal as long as you don't mind being lied to about the weight.

"400LBS Wide Seat" is the nicest way to say this is the obesity edition of the chair.

Problem with these cheap chairs is that the seat padding wears out pretty fast, more so if you're over 250lbs, and then you're sitting on a park bench.

If you weight over 250Ibs then you won't really know the difference when the cushion eventually wears out. There's plenty of padding there already.

Except at 19.3" wide, the seat is actually normal width, I highly doubt a 300 lb person could use this chair let alone 400. Maybe if the arms are up.
