So I got this amazing deal today! They had 1 left in the back storage area still in a sealed metal shipping crate wrapped in plastic. With all 6 batteries in a separate box also wrapped in plastic so I could not see the dates.
They had 3 other ego models also in crates, 2 of the 42" with 4 batteries and 1 of the model that has a steering wheel also 42" with 4 batteries not sure if they were 10's or 12's. Both of these cost more around $2,150 IIRC.
None of them show up online as in stock or on sale in store. I think that is why they lasted so long. The discount shows on the hand held device. As soon as I got mine word spread amongst the employees and they were scrambling to get them. One guy tried to convince me to take one of the other models but I stood firm.
I got the Lowe's business account for an extra $100 off and free delivery and assembly this Friday.

I was there in person so hopefully this doesn't happen especially since I opened a new credit account to get the additional discount and free delivery.
We walked out back through the lumber section. They were in a fenced in area that was open but this section was covered. The ones that went on clearance last fall were sitting out front all season uncovered open without the batteries these were still in the ego metal shipping crate. Hopefully it arrives in like new condition I know others posted they had to fight with ego to get replacements under the warranty.
What are you doing buying these up all over the east coast for resale?
