This is a great deal! I was looking at the Victron Blue Smart chargers this morning but for ⅓ the price and all the same features besides Bluetooth, I'll take this!

I had not a great experience with this.

My first one arrived with a cracked screen

My replacement wouldn't charge my battery at all

My 3rd has worked fine for the last few months.

I wonder how these compare to other brands when charging the standard or AGM's?

i just got this and own the victron 20amp too. the charger itself seems incredibly cheap, barely any weight to it, but it works. i don't know how it doesn't need any large heatsink like the victron or even there non smart 20 amp(the all black one i owned tool

I have this exact charger and I clamped it while charging my 150ah EcoWorthy branded LiFePo4 battery near the beginning and again near the end of the charge cycle. I can vouch that it does a constant 22 amps which is 10% more than rated. Not bad! It got pretty warm but never so hot that I couldn't keep my hand on it. 10 out of 10 in my book especially considering I paid 75 dollars for it about a year ago. At this price, I'll probably buy by a second one. Redundancy is vital when building an emergency power setup.

Would this be good for a motorcycle when not riding?

Way overkill and not the most convenient, but it could work if you make sure the terminals are the right size to bolt onto the battery. If you have a modern bike with an SAE port/connector somewhere it would probably be more convenient to just get a charger/tender an SAE port so you can easily plug/unplug

depends how efficient it is. if it's well designed, and optimized for its peak power it can easily be 90-95% efficient. The waste head of 2-5W at that efficiency doesn't need much heat sinking. Even if it was 80% efficient 10w wouldn't be too bad either.

Thank you OP in for one. Hope I don't have to go through a few bad ones before getting a working one.
