Would this be good for blowing out garage and driveway? Costco has the 800cfm with battery and charger for $200.

Are you sure it's Ego? I thought Costco only carries Greenworks.

Weird, but the 580 is "normally" $199 and the 615 is "normally" only $140.

I did a quick chatgpt comparison of these a few days ago when I saw a combo deal. There are 3 models of ego blowers and they get heavier, more expensive, and need larger batteries to get equal runtime. The mid range being cheaper seems like a deal if you're after power. (I don't own any and I'm not an expert so please correct me if I'm wrong)

I have the 580 and it is more than enough for my needs. When I first saw this for $119 I thought it was a great deal until I realized it has no battery and no charger.

Ego generally outperforms Greenworks on ratings sites. The biggest problem with Greenworks is that they have a bunch of different battery types. Ego is all one battery type that works in all the tools (there are different capacity batteries, but they're all compatible). I'm sure the Costco Greenworks kit is compatible with what comes with it, but if you want to add tools in the future, it may be more difficult.
