Thank you, my watch has ended. 300nits.. I'd rather have 500 nits, however that seems to be a unicorn when also wanting a matte screen. I also wanted a ryzen CPU, further limiting my options. For this price, this seems like a good deal in the meantime until more 500 nit laptops are released.
I've been looking at laptops up to $1,500, and even at that price point, 500 nits with a matte screen, ryzen CPU, and no deal breakers is unobtainium. Now that OLED are the new hotness, that rules out a lot of choices due to the glossy screen which isn't suitable in bright environments

The 400nit Thinkpad p14s was a top contender but for some reason they gave it a tiny 52Wh battery, even though the same model with Intel CPU has bigger battery... It's also overpriced right now, last year it dipped as low as ~ $780 brand new.
Hopefully the next gen of laptops has more 500 nit matte display options!

Yeah it's not going to win any awards on specs, but at $399 it's going to be hard to find a better overall value.

This is amazing. Was curious on the previous deal for ~450-500 talk to chat deal, or so or if I should throw more cash at the costco 32gb version.

$400 for the 16gb, slightly lesser tier (300 bucks cheaper)? I'm SOLD! ty
