What? Tons of residential chargers at 30amps. This also has a 14-50 plug that will definitely charge an EV…
Nah, this is in some weird middle-zone for power. Not big enough, and not small enough. Just wrong. Better to get a generator that can properly feed a 50 amp line and do a full 30 amps all day long while on ng or propane.

There's no EVSE designed to draw a continuous 30 amps… Anything designed for a 30 amp breaker runs at 24 amps per code. They're common and they exist, so your original comment makes no sense (as the poster above me also pointed out). Tons of EV users run at 16 amps overnight.
This thing runs my 3.2k sq ft house, 5 ton AC (soft start), and pool without issue. I think most people would find that acceptable. Maybe you should just get a car that runs on gasoline if charging an EV at max watts is what's most important to you.
If you want something larger for your EV, that's totally okay and understandable. But don't spread misinformation by saying this can't charge an EV. That's just ignorant.
As to central AC, I wanted to mention that earlier this year, I purchased a variable speed high efficiency 4 ton Trane central air that only draws 16 amps RLA and 12 amps LRA.

Yes they just did for me..already had it in my cart and they gave me $238 off..$949 total..I did it by text no phone call...I think this is a steal on this generator

Middle zone surely depends on the size of the house. Even if you have a big house, you may have one panel that has all of the important circuits for when power is out...ac, fridge, master bedroom, kitchen, etc.
I have 3 AC, and my Costco tri fuel generator which is about the same capacity as this, can run the small 1 ton AC for master bedroom without a soft switch.
No, this is not exactly a whole home generator, but it is plenty for a lot of people. If I didn't have my Coctco generator already I would have jumped on this. When I bought my Costco generator, this had just came out and was running $1699!
