Some of us knew better and drilled drainage holes when first installed, before the recall.

depending on your unit's charger gauge, be careful of the small silver connections, I had to use 5 to reconnect mine, this video is not mine but someone else's, it shows you the smaller connections https://www.youtube.com/shorts/wSIpuiibI0Q

I used crimp connectors with shrink tubing for mine. Waiting for the check currently. Our unit had no mold, but I realized there were no drain holes at the end of last summer when it dumped a ton of water on my carpet as I was taking it out of the window. Found the recall this year and drilled a couple holes.

Does the water accumulate on the inside bottom part?
Asking because I plan on plugging all the holes on the outside, and putting a 5 gallon water tank on top of it, to drip inside, to improve cooling.
Now if there is water that pools on the inside, well I should be able to figure that out, I hope
