From humble beginnings, our team of entomologists, researchers, and outdoor enthusiasts has over 100 years of combined experience fighting mosquitoes. So all you have to do is TURN IT ON...MOSQUITOES GONE.

This basically puts a pesticide in the air to repel mosquitoes (and other insects). It is pretty effective, but again, it puts pesticide in the air around you. Effective yes, healthy probably not.

I bought incense type sticks that you burn and they last about 6 hours each, and the pack comes with 2 of them. They smell good and repel mosquitos, got them at dollar tree for $1.25/package.

How do these electric ones compare to the ones use fuel cartridge? Is the fuel cartidge version less harmful? Less or more effective?

The refills cost a little more but your not using the butane cartridge so you save money and effort.

And these definitely do work
I have wetland in my property and have real bad mosquitoes and with one running I sit on my deck all night with no bugs. These definitely work.

Avon's skin so soft is still the best and most effective.
