I love these. So much so that I learned how to make them. But even making them does not make them that cheap. This is a good deal.

Based on their fruit bars (lemon, apple, blueberry), I have one word for the Lara Bar: Yuck!

I'm starting to make my own protein bars (not necessarily a replica of these Larabars) and am hoping the cost of ingredients + yield will end up saving me money. That being said, I do like cashew cookie and will be ordering these so I have something on hand for those times I get too busy (or lazy Embarrassment) to make my own. Big Grin

I just made a batch as wanted to use up the ingredients that I already had purchased. I get the dates from Aldi. The dates are $4.58ish for each batch. But the plus is you can modify some. So for example I love cocoanut. So make them with dates, coconut and cashews.

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered coconut flakes a couple days ago, as well as flax seeds and pumpkin seeds. yummy

Thanks for the link! Looks like you only get to use the coupon twice for something.
I am a bit addicted to the Cashew bars and this brings down the price to something a lot more reasonable.
