The thread on Reddit was positive about these and here is an unboxing on Youtube. I have the Q20 and Q20i models and really like them. For kids, I think this would be the better option than the Q20's ( lighter weight) and it's not a big investment if the kid drop them. I'd recommend an inexpensive carrying case for travel, too. https://www.amazon.com/Ginsco-Hea...B019Z81V3M

I got the Q20 versions for the kids, as they have ANC. Got tired of buying the cheap Altec/Jlab kind.
Definitely more robust, better battery & sound. You just have to mindful as these do not have volume limiter like kid specific headphones.
