PS5 accepts Gen 5 SSD but only gives 4.19 MBS read speed instead of advertised 11,000 MBS. So, not worth it over pci-e 4.0

If you don't need the speed of this one you can get a 4TB 990 pro for under $200 on amazon resale used like new condition plus extra 30% off for prime day brings it down to $185.

Finally.... Finally a good deal on a "modern" SSD!
This is Gen "5" at today's pricing, okay kids, do you see this? All you all thumbing up the old and antiquated Gen "4" drives that cost 1.5 times more today then the did 3 freekin years ago. You kids need to get up to date and up to speed already! None of that gen 4 stuff is worth a penny more then 49.99 per TB! And with this deal being gen 5 at $96 per TB, well that's about right for the latest and greatest! Not great per say, but it's about right. You kids keep paying this for the ancient gen 4's, and thinking it is somehow a good deal?.! Some of the kids here need to put that crack pipe down! It's obviously affecting logical judgement.
Just sayin.

depends what you use it for. i notice the difference between my 990 evo plus and my Firecuda 520. both are 2TB. I went back to the Firecuda as my OS drive.

Sequential max speeds are boring... they need to get 4K random speeds past 1GB/s
