Good deal? It's self-propelled, brushless motor, and 80V

Edit: Corrected to brushless

Does anyone know how it compares to Amazon prime deal model.. I couldn't find any difference in specs other than slight longer battery charge time (75 mins vs 60 mins)
This one has visible white color tires and Amazon and other units are black tires.. Is it old model or any other thing to know if I should buy this?

Wasn't the amazon one NOT self-propelled? Or did I miss a deal.

FYI this is an old version. 3 year tool and 2 year battery warranty too. Found the review on Consumer reports and it's just mediocre. Newer versions are reviewed much better.

I have both and prefer the Amazon (non self-propelled) model for most uses. Cutting seems better and the auto variable speed is nice as well.

Which self propelled one do you have? Is it this black one? I'm also curious if this 5ah battery is the longer battery or shorter one. Some of the old ones were pretty long.

Good call - the self propelled version that I have is actually the green one (that has the automatic switching dual batteries vs. the single battery capacity on the black one). Not sure if there are other differences between them, but the model I have is 2544502.

Based on the picture, this one appears to be coming with the older (longer) 5 Ah battery.

Just to clarify for anyone else reading these posts, "longer" is referring to the physical size of the battery (not capacity). Greenworks went to newer battery casings a year or two back and the result of that was to shorten the physical length of the 5 Ah battery (which makes virtually no difference in an item like a mower, but does directly impact ergonomics when using in something handheld like a weedeater or blower).

The longer charge time is likely due to the larger battery (5Ah). Not sure which battery the Amazon unit has. This is an older model, with the round handles, the newer ones are square aluminum handles and have different controls.

Not a bad deal, considering the cost of the Greenworks 5 Ah battery ($300+),

I've been waiting on a solid sale for a Greenworks 80v self propelled mower. I checked reviews on this model, and checked at Consumer Reports. This is the Consumer Reports take:

"Nothing about this mediocre 21-inch self-propelled mower from GreenWorks stands out. In addition to earning only average mulching and bagging ratings in CR's tests, the machine does a subpar job of dispersing clippings in side-discharge mode. The battery runs for about 30 minutes before it needs to be recharged, CR's testers found."

I'm gonna take a pass on this one. Wait for a Pro model.

According to the Greenworks Tools website, the 2502402NV model number is associated with the MO80L510 model.
