What mix are you using, may I ask?
1/2 cup 70% alcohol. Dont use the higher one.
1/2 cup dawn platinum
1 cup purified water. Plain water should work fine too.

Wow, isnt that a lot of alcohol? I only use 0.50oz to 0.70 (freehand using a scale) and 5.5oz of dawn platinum. Rest water. and it still smells strong on the alcohol scent. good thing is when i use it i only need a small 1/4 to 1/2 quick trigger pull a dash of water on the sponge and then just continue to add 1/4 trigger pull spray on each of the dishes.
The spray lasts me quite a long time before having to refill the bottle.
Id disagree, I dont like using the store bought version anymore as my mix cuts through grease better. And if not, a second light spritz and a splash of water and a quick rub down and it really strips away the grease. It works well even on the stove top. my version lasts longer between bottles so I'm swapping out less. plus when refilling with the Costco dawn platinum jug it lasts months.
