Too many 1 star reviews, cheap remote, and no app remote. Not truly 150 wpc, they fudged the wattage with a single 1000Hz frequency and near .9% audible distortion. Just say 140 wpc Sony.

Amazon and Sony.com has the 150 watt inflated rating. Crutchfield shows the 140. Why?

Audioholics did a review a year ago and mentioned it had a plastic faceplate, and no Dirac room correction. They promised to do a follow up review on the room correction and nothing has happened. For a $3300 MSRP receiver to fall flat on its face right out of the gate is pretty embarrassing.

I'd rather take my chances on a Denon 6800 + an external stereo amp (if you need the same 13 channel processing).

I feel like any mass market AVR w/o Dirac these days is at a severe disadvantage!

I have owned both the x6800h and the az7000es.. I returned the x6800h.. Dirac has nothing on sonys 360 Spatial sound mapping technology. It is next level imersive.

What didn't you like about Dirac and what makes the Sony spatial mapping better?

Very easy to make claims w/o any backup on forums these days...
