I don't know if it is an Amazon change, but to enter code, I had to go to Change Payment Methods where Gift card and code entry was located. And even though the code was entered and it said code accepted, it still showed the full price on the right. I changed payment methods and then changed back to get it to update. It might have gone through without doing that, but I don't trust Amazon that much.

It's been that way for a while in the app. They've found the most unintuitive location possible to enter codes.
