It's hardware made by Google. Don't expect it to be supported past a year. You can search killed by Google for an idea of their commitment to hardware support.

I would pass on these hard, all major reviews of these just like the eero 6E were extremely negative and showed major issues. As time went by firmware didnt seem to fix the issues either and most reviewers never got back to reviewing them. If that changed after almost 2 years who knows, but at $63 a pop I would say no...
