I keep adding crushed eggshells through my compost and that's all the calcium my tomatoes need. It take a while for this to be available to the tomatoes so have to factor some time. A bigger culprit for blossom end rot is inconsistent watering. Ever since I started watering daily, all my blossom end rot woes went away. I'm in California, so YMMV in other areas.

Bone meal and consistently watering your tomatoe plants is all you need to eliminate blossom end rot.
