I was about to place the order but accidentally landed on their Amazon page, where the price seems even lower; and a couple reviews point out the battery issue. I think I will pass.

yea I found that too, favorite.com doesn't charge sale tax and has shipping fee included.

looks dumb. if you're the type to buy this thing, you're also not someone who can afford it - otherwise you'd be looking at a quality product. this will be garbage, you will be better off spending the same amount on a fun night out or better yet - a shitty bicycle. Because $300 won't even buy a quality bicycle let alone a tiny one with motors and batteries.
