Fairlife shakes are absolutely amazing. I'm like you, I normally go for whatever is on sale at Costco, but every protein shake I've ever had tastes like medicine. These Core Power shakes are the only ones that don't taste like medicine - they taste, literally, like Dairy Queen. seriously, try it out if you haven't already done so. you'll never buy any other protein shakes again.

You can also get the Fairlife from Sam's around $22.98 for a 12pk and 30g. Nurri brand same thing but for $19.98. So cost to protein ratio is going to be much better. But if you like Core, go for it

Genuinely curious but what makes people so loyal to Fairlife/Core Power protein shakes? I usually just get whatever 30g is on sale at Costco, I like Premier and Orgain. Nurri tastes watery to me and I don't understand the hype. Fairlife seems to be the most expensive option, is there a reason?

You might be thinking of the core power ELITE? Or something changed recently. Last I checked my Costco was an 18 pack of these. And my Sam's was a 12 pack. Both came out to 2.12 a bottle. This is 2.11. So barely a deal.

Fairlife Core Power used to seem amazing to me too until I learned more about the ingredients in them. They are ok for a quick protein snack once in awhile. If one really values their health though, it would be a better idea to make your own protein shake with better and less ingredients.

Sam's has both Raw and Fairlife cheaper. 30g for $19.98 and $23.22 respectively.

Guess I'll have to try it when it goes on sale. It must be the sweeteners they're using that help it not taste like medicine. I'm not that sensitive to zero calorie sweeteners and actually can't tell the difference between zero sugar sodas and sugar. I actually like most RTD shakes but I'm a little wary after hearing so many rave reviews for Nurri while I found it to be one of my least favorite RTD protein shakes due to the wateriness.

I'm sure there's some hype/social media influence involved. But for me, there are a couple of reasons I like Fairlife (and willing to pay a little bit more). Fairlife has the texture/mouthfeel of regular milk. It also tastes closer to lightly sweetened vanilla or chocolate milk. The ingredients reflect this, as it's made with milk and sweetener (natural and artificial). They filter the milk down so that's more concentrated hence the higher protein level than standard milk. Conversely, Premier Protein starts with water, then adds protein (whey) and mixed in with a variety of vitamins/supplements. Same with Orgain (the non-vegan version). I assume this causes taste and/or mouthfeel to be different than Fairlife. I tried Nurri for the first time recently. To me, it's a bit watery (they do the ultra-filtered milk like Fairlife), and the artificial sweetener "chemically" aftertaste comes thru more. Taste is very subjective, so some people like it some people don't.

The Orgain 30g feels milky enough to me to make it my favorite and Premier's coffee flavor is so good. Agree about Nurri, the watery texture is just a huge disappointment for me. But if Fairlife is even better, I'll have to try Fairlife.

Which version is the one that tastes most like milk? Fairlife 30g or Corepower 26g?

Naw, not the elites.....maybe they are a little more expensive in my area or something.
