Now, the co-founders of Axios have created an essential guide for communicating effectively and efficiently using Smart Brevity—think Strunk and White's Elements of Style for the digital age.

This book is about brevity in words, but the book is 199 pages long. The authors should practice what they preach & simplify their book into a pamphlet of 1 to 4 pages. I'm partly joking here.

Could have just said, "199 pages is too long for a book on brevity." 😃

Haha. How about, "Book on brevity should be a pamphlet," or "Book on brevity is an oxymoron"? Hehe.

However, I'm actually not an acolyte of brevity in words. I think dumbing down everything into 10 or less words is a bad idea. The more valuable ideas & skills require years of learning, practice, trial & error, & constant improvements. This is true for cooking, construction, math, science, engineering, sports, social skills, public speaking, etc. I do believe in efficiency.
