This is more like it, 600w can haul an adult around. Being a well known name brand means there are tons of resources out there for modding these too.

FWIW, me and my son weigh a combined 240 and our 350w and 500w move us around just fine. Definitely at a much lower range though of course, but it goes.

Meh.com MorningSave.com and SideDeal.com are all the same company and all give kickbacks to affiliates like Slickdeals, so they get promoted by SD Staff Influencers pretty often. Up to 15% cash "back"...to them.
https://sidedeal.com/affiliates

for anyone over the weight capacity ...I suspect it will work, but I'd suggest getting a better "fit". you'll regret buying an underpowered one after CRAWLING up the first incline (that was my experience, albeit with a different brand)

5TH WHEEL W09S 350W Electric Scooter with Turn Signal, 8.5" Solid Tires, 18mph & 20Miles Range, Folding Commuting E-Scooter for Adults with APP Control
Walmart $199, I'm 225lbs and it will fly. Slightly sluggish going up hills tho.

Sucks they can't ship it to Chicago. Makes no sense. Amazon does but not Walmart

It will handle your weight as there are many people who are 250lbs that ride this same scooter and can easily maintain top speed on level ground, but it will have a much harder time maintaining max speed at any sort of incline or with any sort of headwind, and you will have reduced range with greater weight for 3 reasons that I can think of: 1. Rolling resistance and total friction from all rotating parts and tire friction (slightly increases with heavier weight) 2. Air resistance ( how physically large you are, i.e.- your drag coefficient or wind resistance, not associated with weight) 3. Your mass (weight), or more specifically the energy required to accelerate your mass to 15.5mph every time you come to a stop then accelerate back to full speed. Someone that weighs 125lbs will take far less energy to accelerate to 15.5mph in the same amount of time that it takes someone who weighs 250lbs to do it, so if you do city riding where you're starting and stopping a lot, then a small weight difference when multiplied over dozens of starts and stops during a trip makes a big difference in total energy used. I ride to work along a bike path with NO STOPS with my friend and our trip distance is 5.8 miles each way. I am 5'6" 140lbs wearing a large bulky armored motorcycle style jacket and he is 5'6" 230lbs and wears a tight-fitting more aerodynamic thin hoodie sweatshirt so we have a similar drag coefficient and when we take turns riding my scooter there is almost no difference in battery usage even though there is a huge 90lb weight difference between us. We are riding at around 30mph average speed on a Kaabo Mantis Pro 60V scooter so in my case drag coefficient is a much greater factor than if you were using this Xiaomi scooter that tops out at 15.5mph since air resistance increases at an exponential rate rather than linear which means doubling your speed from 20mph to 40mph doesn't mean wind resistance just doubles, it increases at a greater rate. The rolling resistance and rotational friction difference that 90 pounds makes when riding my scooter nonstop does not make a significant difference in battery life, but if we had to start/stop dozens of times per trip then there would be a big difference in battery usage between us.
