I got this deal last time and I will warn you that this deal is very good and will convert you into a "Actually I prefer the starlock blades" person. Happened to me. The oscillating tool just kicks total ass. The chameleon is also fantastic and it's surprisingly strong. I used it to build one of those racks that hold the 27 gallon containers and it never slowed down. Take your time changing adapters- its simple enough but I managed to screw it up one time. Probably skill issue, worth mentioning nonetheless.

The drill itself goes on sale for like 20 bucks less than this without the mutli tool and the multi tool absolutely rocks.

same here. now i'm totally sold on the bosch 12v ecosystem. started with the chameleon drill + multi-tool set, and now i have the impact driver, impact wrench, worklight, sander, and vacuum.

The worst thing about buying this set is you'll set up an alert for other Bosch 12v tools and it'll just be this deal being reposted every few weeks.

I love the chameleon driver, it's definitely made me interested in adding more 12v tools to my set up because the lighter weight is awesome for certain jobs, I just really wish other fun 12v Bosch stuff went on sale more often.

Concur. I have used the heck out of the Chameleon. So versatile. I love how well made all the adapters are. Very solid feel. I've abused mine and it's really holding up well.

Ugh... OK, you convinced me.

I am deep in the Makita system, but also have a Dremel, and I believe the batteries are interchangeable, so I guess somehow I can justify it?

I despise the "for Makita" oscillating tool I have, so hopefully this one is much superior. I believe there are Starlock-to-regular adapters out there to use the existing blades and raspers.

So... thanks, I guess.

I also bought this deal earlier in the year and it was the rare backordered Amazon item where it actually shipped on almost the last day of estimated delivery, so don't order if you're in any hurry. I was concerned they were going to cancel it.

Also it shipped kind of weird where the Chameleon kit was in its box and the multitool was just sort of in a bag with some loose stuff and the manual. The labeling made it look on purpose but it felt weird, certainly took 'bare tool' to new meaning.

Not as big of a fan of the starlock Bosch oscillating, but absolutely love the Chameleon. I am mostly Milwaukee Fuel M12 and M18 but the Chameleon I like so much more than the Milwaukee Installation Driver that all team red drools over. I am convinced that if they replaced the Installation Driver with the Chameleon they would change, it is just better.

This set is awesome. I did not want to stray from my current battery ecosystem but it was well worth it.

Okay yeah that's how mine shipped too I forgot! It looks like someone at the warehouse was like "guys you can totally fit the multi tool in the chameleon box, look"
And one of the dudes who looked is in marketing.

My Bosch 12 volt tools are my first choice for drilling/driving over my M18 tools, of which I have many.
