the image shown doesn't appear to be the set that is available at that price. I love Roland drums however

I own two of these. One as a practice set and the other to perform. Had them for a few years now and really like them. My only complaints are that the rack bar near the toms is square rather than round. So your only options for the toms are really to put them on the center vertical poles. Also, some of the features in other sets like being able to switch kits via a pad are not available on this module.

Bambu lab 3D printer for sure. You can use it to print out a Roland drum kit and then load a VST like EZDrummer 3 to make it play sounds. You will just need to make sure you buy a good pair of sticks since you can't print those.

How does Adorama do this kit so cheap when it's not discontinued?

If I had the time to get back into drums I'd be all over this.

I scored one of these off craigslist for $1k, new in box. Although this isn't as good of a deal, this is still a great price for a great kit.

This is a great deal I bought it the last time around. You still need to get a high hat pedal, kick pedal, throne and sticks. (There is another bundle that has throne and sticks but it's not this).

This is a very good deal on an excellent ekit. I wouldn't skimp out too much on the accessories though. A decent hithat stand will probably run you $75ish, a good throne will be around $200, and a pedal can run into the $250 range if a single, $600 for a double. You can get cheapo accessories but I see this as a way to get more bang for your buck in the other parts.

If you choose to ignore the above that's cool but if it is your first set I highly suggest at least getting a nicer throne. I played on a $25 throne for years and it hindered my playing quite a bit. I have an open box Roc N Soc and it helped my posture and comfort a bunch. Just some friendly tips for someone who played on awful equipment for 5 years in their teens.

I have the KVX and you can configure it as 1 up 2 down, that's how I prefer it
