I have this air fryer and I like it. It does have the somewhat annoying preheat stage like most air fryers do. But an important feature that seems rarely mentioned with this air fryer is the bottom heating element. It makes a huge difference in cooking as you don't need to flip items as much (or at all). And you can actually bake things like bread and have the bottoms browned and crispy too, which is a big advantage over top heat only air fryers that will leave your food mostly raw on the bottom. The light and viewing window are also useful for checking your food without opening the fryer and losing all your heat. The cooking basket has 2 handles for a reason as the large cooking area handles a lot of food. I'm not a shill or anything, just happy I found an air fryer that fixes a lot of the problems other air fryers have.

I have this airfryer as well and agree with everything you mentioned. I was using a Ninja Foodie Grill prior, but the capacity was a limiting factor. This one has the size, the double handle to easily shift food around, and can easily go in the dishwasher. The swappable grill option is really nice too. Only thing I absolutely hate is how loud the beep noise is when touching any buttons, especially if you have to cycle through the presets and adjust the temperature/time.

Overall super happy with it though. My Ninja has just been collecting dust.

thanks for the review... How heavy is it? We keep our current airfryer in the pantry and get out whenever we need. Is this relatively portable?

For the air fryer function, it's the quantity of the forced hot air that really is what matters - I have a similar oven (style) and often these types of ovens (often - I haven't used this one to really judge) simply don't get the amount of air blowing that the drawer styles do - that would be my question. I can see as a standard oven (as you mentioned bread bottoms, etc.) that would be a benefit as this is trying to be both, and often they simply can't be as good at both as more specialty units. For the price, might be worth a shot however.

We warned.... with items such as this that get hot an old fashion turn knob is a better choice than a touchpad/LED display because the latter will eventually get baked !!

Agree, I've had Bella pro touch screens 2x now. And though work great, the touch screens eventually goes. First was within warranty period and got my money back, replacement just died. Unfortunately, not really any good non-touchscreen options.

You rock. Came here to say this too.

The heating elements in these toaster ovens as far as superior to the ones in most 3-D filament dryers . By all is using the element at extremely low heat heating element will probably work very effectively efficiently and have extremely long product life.

I've noticed a lot of filament dryers have the heat element on only one side of the spool which is awkward to look at.

Look for the dehydrated function . It means the oven will go to low enough degree to do filament. Also look for proof function and warm function. Depending how they set it up you can use those too.

The same way that you put it...... in except in reverse.

But seriously, look in your junk drawer and see if you have one of these...
They're sometimes included with small appliances.

Lol, yes long time lurker but it was a slow day at work and this air fryer should not be slept on. I've "upgraded" my air fryer many times hoping for an air fryer I'm finally happy with. While not perfect, this one checks the most boxes for my needs and finally having a bottom heating element (like an electric oven) cannot be overstated in helping cook things evenly top and bottom with less flipping. And when this goes on sale its a steal. To answer some questions in other posts, -yes theres a top heating element, -it's portable enough, bulky but not really heavy. -I've had this since last fall, been using it almost daily since, and havent managed to melt the display yet but ymmv. Good luck all.
