The frame is study, lenses are polarized. I can't complaint for what I paid given that I needed to return a pair of Rayban to Ashford ($70) due to the fact that they were very filmsy and looked fake.

I'm not a lawyer. The internet says they are a authorized seller. As with any retailer there will be bad actor customers that order product and return a fake item and get a refund. If that product is not properly identified it may make it to stock/inventory and subsequently resold.
Given one can make any claim on the internet it doesn't have to be accurate all the time especially if their base of operations is outside certain areas (like China) that may not require to adhere to othr countries legal codes.
That said my glasses shipped from a warehouse in NJ and should arrive Thursday. These glasses will arrive Friday.
