These can't be any worse than the aweful set my wife bought at Walmart, when our Oneida sets started running low from kids randomly losing (or probably tossing). I try to wait until Oneida has their clearance sales, cause man they make some amazing cutlery.

"In silverware, 18/10 refers to the composition of stainless steel: 18% chromium and 10% nickel. Chromium adds durability and corrosion resistance, while nickel enhances shine and strength. Higher numbers indicate better quality."

**Used** to. Be careful - they have basically two lines now. Premium cutlery they produce domestically, and cheap flatware they manufacture in China. Was recently in the market for some and grabbed a couple of sets off Amazon to check out. They were terrible. Then I noticed their website offers sets at 3 - 4x the cost.

If you're going to spend money for good cutlery I highly recommend Knork. Yes, China manufacture, but finished in the US. More importantly it's well balanced and, well, different. More curved and well designed. I thought it was gimmicky when I first looked at it but it really is a game changer.
