Also, not everyone needs top of the line. I have a Fire TV in my garage and enjoy it just as much as my expensive Samsung and LGs inside the house.
Not really, not garbage at all. I use the 43" for a monitor, and it does nicely for that. No, it's not the brightest TV, but it's bright enough, and it handles glare well. Also, since it's an IPS panel, it has great viewing angles and accurate color. It's a no-brainer purchase if you don't have a lot of money. I think it's better than the low end Hisense, Element, Westinghouse, TCL offerings.

Most of these cheap TVs use slow CPUs which results in a lot of input lag when browsing the TV menus....

This is an excellent budget TV. I purchased the older model back in 2022 for 299.99 and I am very happy with the purchase. In fact, I regretted that I didn't pick up a second one at the time when the sale was over. Some may be hesitant to purchase this because Hisense now makes Toshiba TVs, but if I remember correctly, Hisense still follows Toshiba's standard, and they are expected to adhere to Toshibas guideline and specification. I've owned numerous cheap TVs, and I can confirm this TV is not cheaply made. The quality is there comparing it to other cheap tvs I've owned. Just throwing my 2 cents based on my experience with this TV.

Then why buy g more expensive TVs, something is wrong with your logic.

I actually was fortunate enough that I didn't buy any of my expensive TVs so they were cheaper than this if you want to follow that "logic". My logic has nothing to do with the cost or ownership of another product. I prefer my home theater projector over all the other options. Just because there's a preference to one brand or type doesn't mean there isn't a place for "cheaper" TVs nor does it mean the Fire TV is garbage. I would say that the average Joe won't care that this 4k TV isn't the best in the world when it's a perfectly nice picture.

Perfect for those who watch an hour or two of HGTV every week.
