Good price, I think I paid $65 a year ago
I mentioned that I had an Abxylute S9 but was worried taking in and out a lot might mess up the port (you have to stretch it to its max tension and put it in at an angle, I imagine juggling that wrong just once could put a lot of torque on the port).
So far the G8+ has solved that issue. It goes in and out without issue, no hard USB-C connection.
Specific to the Y700, it seems to have problems connecting in Blue mode, but in Yellow mode it works just fine... and there was a button that would allow you to turn the right joystick into a pointer that apparently doesn't work with the latest Y700 firmware update.
But otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it.
Battery life is good, so charging it separately is not that big a deal.
If there's input latency, I don't notice it... I use wireless controllers for everything else, so seems fine to me.
I do think the S9 feels better and has better buttons, but for my use case G8+ is better.

Are you using sunshine on the host pc? There's a config change that will treat all moonlight client controllers as xbox 360. This is working great for me with the blue ds mode connected to my android tablet.
