Well worth the price of admission.
I'm also thinking that closer to the BL 4 release date most of the BL games and dlc will be on better sales...

Can't say for Prime or the XBO edition, but giveaway dates might line up with the PC versions, since it is sometimes a publisher/studio promotion.
The PC edition was recently free through Epic (week of 5/29).
Many of the mainline Borderlands games were also recently discounted and Borderlands2 was free around 6/5 through Steam

I have it in my xbox one s, and I never bought it. I think I claimed it twice on one of the sites, so my ms account should have both pc and xbox versions.
