This is not a new deal and there was a long thread on it. Not sure why the site admins deleted it other than to push folks towards a specific vendor.

Size… I'm a professional aircraft mechanic and I use the Craftsman on an almost daily basis… I have to use shaved bits even with the Craftsman… The one that you linked just wouldn't work…

Wanted the craftsman but went with this instead for 11.99 - mainly because it comes with a plastic case. but also:
-more bits
-flat instead of offset
-no plastic bit holder
-1 day shipping available

Those are some nice features, but the ratchet itself isn't nearly as good.

You know what would be nice. Something that puts downward pressure on it while you turn.
Seems good for things that aren't that tightly screwed in.

Think of this as Craftsman's subscription service 😉

I mean the price difference isn't even that big, just get the craftsman solely for the warranty.

If you want to be a cheapskate just go to harbor freight https://www.harborfreight.com/8-p...92630.html
