Just moved out on my own to a new home, which set would be recommended to get?

Depending on your budget, this looks to be a good set. You'd need to supplement it with wrenches and some extensions, but the socket set looks good and pretty complete.

I bought a large ratchet set when I moved out and down sized later. If you just need this for random repairs around the house/car, you might be just as well served by a smaller set that is cheaper and easier to carry around. If you do a lot of work that requires the variety here, this is solid
