I bought the 47mm version over the holidays for $350– it's a great watch. I feel like this price should be slicker, as it's an older model at this point.

I guess it was not the Pro version, was it?

You are correct…I couldn't see the value in the pro version for double the price or more.

Incredible watch that I absolutely loved, but the Epix gen 2 is a much better value around $300 if you don't need the extra features.
I ended up selling mine and going back to Ultra 2 because to me, being able to run without a phone and using audible and Spotify without having to deal with an ancient system for music/audiobooks/podcasts was so important to me. 3 days of battery life is more than enough for someone like me. However, if you're a serious athlete then the Garmin is provides so much more.

Seems like it.

It sucks because they added Rucking to their list of available exercises, but this watch might not get it.

Not cool for what was their top of the line watch less than a year ago.

I would have loved to buy this from Target because I have credits there but they kept on insisting it is sold by third party. I gave them the link that shows shipped and sold by Amazon but they insist that it's third party. They gave me a link and still it points to the same item but still doesn't want to honor. The last argument they've used is the UPCs are different between the two and it clearly shows it's the same. Maybe the price difference is too high for them to price match. I just wanted to buy it there because I have gift cards and circle rewards that I wanted to use to offset cost but they're not budging.

I have a buddy who works for Garmin and got me 40% off when it released, so this almost matches the employee discount. I've had it for a bit over a year now and it's a fantastic watch. I charge it once or twice a month depending on my exercise usage. The AMOLED screen is crisp. The flashlight I use daily, no matter how much Apple Watch fanboys will try and tell you it's a gimmick. I have relatively large hands, so the 51mm doesn't look oversized on me. But if you have small wrists, you might consider a smaller size. Also, I won't get a watch without sapphire glass now. I've banged this thing into so many surfaces over the time I've owned it and there's nary a scratch.

Same. I got this same model when it was $750 a few months back. That was still a gut punch even at that price, but I like this model a lot more than the Fenix 6x Sapphire it replaced. I use the flashlight quite a bit too.

I don't know how Garmin managed to get the battery to last for weeks when I have to recharge my Samsung Ultra watch (also OLED) every 2 days.

This thing is probably overkill for my daily use, but it's pretty amazing all the stuff it can do when I use it for hiking or MTBing.

Alas, this is the last hurrah for the Epix as it's basically merged with the Fenix now.

I was able to pm in my first attempt but it took them a while to confirm. the first customer service rep had to escalate it to a supervisor which claimed that it was sold by third party, i said i disagree and gave them both amazon and walmart links, then they were convinced. You may try giving them the walmart link
