Look at the Amazon product page with a larger picture. It clearly shows 1300 mah for the AA batteries. https://www.amazon.com/batteries-...9LDB5?th=1
Also just by design when you charge in series like this unless both batteries are exactly the same capacity and charge level (unlikely due to sample variation) you will overcharge one and try still possibly undercharge the other.
I had this as my first charger and batteries. Really both the charger and the batteries are mediocre. I'd start with something like this: https://dealquestnow.online/f/18369502-powerowl-rechargeable-aa-aaa-batteries-with-fast-charger-17-99-amazon?src=rcm_
That's at least a single channel charger and the batteries are better than this in specification and at worst similar quality for longevity/failure. From there you can always buy better batteries if you want to later on but the charger will be acceptable to keep.

If you don't need all 6 aa batteries at once and the 2 aaa, there's an Energizer charger with 4 aa 2,000 mah nimh batteries for $14 on Amazon right now.

At least as recently as last year, they were selling Ladda "Made In Japan" cells around this price and with higher capacity. I believe they still are.
Their $7 charger charges cells individually. A 4-pack of 1900 mAH (hopefully "Made in Japan") AA cells is $8. The 4-pack of 2450 mAH AA cells is $10.
I believe there are two factories in Japan that make NiMH cells (Panasonic/Eneloop and FDK/Fujitsu) and both make cells that are superior in longevity/durability to cells made in China. Buying "Eneloop" brand should guarantee cells from Japan but are generally expensive. If Ikea still has "Made In Japan" cells then one would be crazy to gamble on Chinese cells for a tiny cost savings.
The big brands are regularly sourcing cells from different places, and at times Duracell, Energizer, and even Amazon Basics were selling some "Made in Japan" cells but I believe currently all three of those are sourcing cells from China.
