Looks like they (Take-Two) are getting a lot of flak for their new invasive/broad EULA. But this is still a good deal... I'll pick it up and keep it tucked away in my library until they get themselves sorted out.

Nintendo has the same sort of EULA, and they've sold out of their new $500 Switch.

Nintendo isn't asking for access to your entire PC. No one cares if Nintendo has access to their Nintendo.

I thought it was "my" Nintendo since "I" would be the one buying it. Thanks for clarifying that I indeed do own absolutely nothing.

So you care who made the device, not what personal info is on the device? Strange line in the sand.

BTW, read your ISP's, PC's, phone's, mobile carrier's.....even SlickDeal's EULA before complaining about GearBox's.

Side note: Some people will believe anything a meme or reddit told them to think and no amount of evidence could ever dissuade them. Not sure why we even.....

nintendo is for children, and yeah children own nothing
Most Switch owners are adults and even if that wasn't the case....shouldn't children be protected first since they cannot enter into legal agreements????

.....LOL, the logic these 'children' keep offering is amazing....but not in a good way.

Generally, someone's PC is going to have a lot more personal info than someone's gaming console. So yes, the device matters.

I didn't know privacy laws were dictated by "general" concepts of assumed use cased projected to all end users? And wait until you find out about the Switch's built in internet browser which allows people to visit any site on the internet to include the social security, banking, etc.

Again, read your ISP's, PC's, phone's, mobile carrier's.....even SlickDeal's EULA before complaining about GearBox's.

....The mental gymnastics are strong in this thread.
