Digital has no value.
Spend 79.99 physical. Sell it later for 40-50.

Agree. However this is exactly what Nintendo is trying avoid. They get $0 when people buying second hand🤣

If possible try to buy physical mario games and can recoup value if decided to resell. But I keep my games to play and collect. I do worry about losing digital games access when and if an online store closes for console eventually

Shills will downvote and say your tripping while paying exorbitant prices for games that will make Nintendo billions.

The fact that someone downvoted your comment proves my other point and yours. Nintendo is just greedy with the whole switch 2 prices.

I thought they weren't doing physical with 2 and even buying it at a store forces a download

I was able to match at Best Buy in person. Had the bonus reward and was at 59 before tax.

It's not the cost of the item but the discount or percent off.You can dump on Nintendo, but it's still a deal. Not liking the cost of the item doesn't diminish that fact.

Why would someone get the machine without the digital copy of this game at launch...only to purchase the digital copy now and spend more money?

Probably because they could only find a non bundle switch 2?

Physical loads over 8 seconds slower than Digital for this game:

touche.

I was seriously thinking that this wasnt the case though. I looked in the walmart app last night casually, and it *said* sold out for both Switches, but then you could still add to cart (it was not grayed out), and it didnt glitch out or anything, and you could just buy it for overnight shipping.

Doesnt seem super efficient...if Nintendo wants the $$, why not just let people buy MKW digital for the discounted price and have just one sku...
